Alain Lossano poses proudly beside his 1951 Kaiser Traveler sedan in the Camilo Cienfuegos suburb of Havana. The Kaiser was a prewar-designed 115 horsepower L-head six-cylinder engine. The Kaiser-Frazer Corporation was formed in 1945 as the last attempt by an independent company to challenge the Detroit dominance of the popular market.
